I want to punch you for that.
Guns are used for more than just hunting and killing, you know.
Mosins are particularly good starter guns due to their cheapness, (though their price is slowly rising in the US) ammo availability, and simplicity. Most aren’t as accurate off the shelf as other bolt actions, especially if it got rusty, but they’ll last forever and great for learning how to maintain a gun properly and good for learning how to handle large caliber rifles. Plus if it’s been taken care of right, they’re really fun to shoot and can hit their target.
Only anti-gun-nuts think that you NEED a gun to be able to get a gun. So long as you are a reasonable, honest member of society, you should be able to get a gun.
That said; I shoot a lot of shooting sports, airsoft, lasertag, clay pidgeon, IPSC-lite, and the rather boring* 100yrd paper targets. It’s fun, get involved.
*Boring for me, I don’t like laying still for half an hour at a time.
Of a Nagant? You mean the Matrix one? That thing is so bad, the magazine takes about a week to load, it’s not particularly accurate and it has so many small fiddly parts that the whole thing is just a pretty shell.
It does look nice though.
you can always order an airsoft one or a replica.
4 weapons I’d probably use.
Claymore greatsword, katana, M1911, or an S&W.500 magnum.
The only one without a serious intimidation factor is the M1911, but that doesn’t make it less deadly.
