And I’m inordinately fond of the idea of AJ, bloom, maud and pinkie all trying to encourage the relationship.
 
Limestone also likes it but refuses to let anyone know because grouchy and abrasive.

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

What makes this ship sail is that there’s a good in-universe reason for it. Pinkie Pie was blatantly fixing Big Mac up with her sister. That puts it up there with Cheerimac, where you had the CMCs fixing him up with their teacher.
