Usually I try as hard as I can to make the characters fit. I agree with FS, there isn’t actually a role for her to assume, but, I keep AJ and RR as they are. Ty tho.

Hmmmm…dunno if Rarity would be a good Ayla. More fitting to AJ’s personality, to the point where the only other character from the Mane 6 who fits a Chrono Trigger role on the same tier as that would be Twilight as Lucca.
 
I see Rarity more like Frog or Marle, honestly .-.
 
Twilight as Lucca, Fluttershy as…doesn’t really fit into any CT role off of the top of my head (probably because she would need a personality for that) Pinkie as Robo, AJ as Ayla and RD as Crono.
