This is the second pic i’ve see of Velvet in Elsa’s dress and it suits her so well; she’s the only other character I’ve seen who can really pull it off.

I mean the picture above has a slight curvature of the spine but it is not really an active yoga pose that is going on that requires practiced spine flexibility to accomplish.

I am the one who created the tag in hopes that moar bendy ponies were drawn. I am going by the yoga definition. I probably tagged 80-90% of all the backbend tags lol.

Also, it does not have to be curved back to a large degree if the subject is stretching the spine backwards. This tag might have to be removed. It does not really represent a backbend.
Arched back can mean that the back curves forwards. Bakckbend specifically means that the back is curved backwards to a large degree.
It’s probably there because it’s synonymous with arched back. :j
