I dunno, there’s a massive logic jump between defending Oleander’s design on the premise that the designer is experienced and “i am sorry for insulting your one true god of art who can never do fault in anyway for i am just seething with jealousy at how stupid i am”. It’s even rather presumptuous; as the anon pointed out, he is generally not a big fan of Faust’s designs.
 
Anon seems to neither be trolling nor the word commonly used in arguments to say “everything this person says is invalid because I disagree with him and everyone else should too”. Either way, obvious flamebait is obvious, and I expect nobody needs to explain the problem here.

Fun fact! I don’t like Lauren’s usual designs from previous works all that much, I’m not crazy about the Fighting 6 or the Mane 6.
 
So yeah, your “Insulting your one true god of art who can never fault of anyway for I’m just setting with jealousy at how stupid I am” kinda fails flat off its mark, since it doesn’t have any actual point on it, you’re just coming off as whiny now.

Funnily enough, I was just today daydreaming of Sonic X Freedom Planet. Something that could happen with the help of a collab with Sega and Nintendo (or Valve for PC gamers. X3 )
 
Admittedly, they only started because I was daydreaming about a 3D Cross game for the Wuu where Nintendo was a full-fledged participant instead of a guest, which is what they are currently in the next Cross game. XD

The team left everything story and design related to Lauren while they focused on working on everything else.

In case anyone misses it, I’m being very sarcastic here. Lauren Faust is completely awesome. If it weren’t for her, none of us would be here talking about this.
