Huh, I didn’t know that, though Skippy did sound a bit older in “Wacko’s Wish,” I recall.
 
Of course, even old female voice actresses can voice little kid characters, I noticed.(Especially, sense girl’s voices don’t get as deep as men when they get older.) So they should be able to voice the CMC, if they chose to reprise their roles.  
Assuming their IRL lives, and other acting/singing gigs don’t get in the way to much.
 
Some voice actresses, like Cree Summer Franks, and Tara Strong were doing voices for cartoons sense they were a kids, as well. So it’s really not that unusual.

i’m pretty certain they can. it’s pretty common for child voice actors to stay on the same show for many years, albeit with their voices adjusted; for example, nathan ruegger was still doing skippy squirrel on animaniacs even as a teenager. in fact, i think dhx already does adjustments for claire corlett, but i’m not 100% sure.

lol I added the “diasweetes” tag, it’s for pics where Sweetie Belle looks way more adorable then she usually looks. ;) (I thought it applied here, because that face!)
 
There’s also a tag for “Rainbow Dash always dresses in style,” and “Scootaloo will show us games to play.” Which also reference the G3 MLP themesong.
 
You can actually check the tag changes, and who made the changes, (and vote if they’re good/bad, if you wish) by clicking the “tag changes” option on a pic, (above) not many seem to know you can do that.

Yeah, someone added the ‘sweetie belle’s magic brings a great big smile’ tag. I didn’t know about it when I posted the vector. I had to look it up what it referenced.
 
In fact, someone also added the ‘diasweetes’ tag too.

The scary thing is, their voice actresses are all technically teenagers now. (Though Scootaloo’s was already one when the show started.) Wonder if they’ll still be able to do the voices if the show continues.
