Um, hi, so this is my first time uploading artwork and I’m not really 100% sure what to do. Still, if you could fave or comment on this, I would really appreciate it.
Since you’re seemingly new, a few pointers if I may.
First off, you can take a look at the primer to help you get started. Here’s also some info on uploading, DA RULES and tagging.
Speaking of, you may want to take a look around to get a feel of the tags. The ones you started with diiiiidn’t quite cut it. You can check the changes made by clicking the “Tag Changes” link you can find under the tags as an example. There’s also some handy starting tags in that little box (beneath that other little box where you actually type the tags) on the upload page.
Also: if you’re the artist it helps if you tag your artist name. That makes for an easy way to find your art. A source is also appreciated, in case people want to fave/comment on your DA.
There’s a few links below the tags and at the very top and bottom of the page that you’ll want to take note of. And if you’re curious about doing fancy things with your text you can click the link right beneath the comment box that being the one that says “click here for help” ;).
There’s also some forums over yonder, ‘case ya wanna hang out or ask something. The Site and Policy one is worth checking out at least. And if you positively, absolutely gotta need a mod to talk to you can check the IRC. Usually there’s always a mod present.
I think that covers most of the beginner stuff. If you’re ever confused about something feel free to ask about it. Someone should end up answering eventually.
