wtf an aging spell i thought twilight isnt a high level unicorn get it right she couldnt even turn scissor and his friend back to normal

V I think that the background was…just a library. She’s a studious pony so of course she’d take the picture there. I think they just reused the library background, since they didn’t think it would be that important.

V Haha, I don’t think that’s what the picture is. I think in the photo in Dragon Quest, she is a filly. It’s just more of that weird cartoon style proportions. Seems like even as kids these ponies have really stretchy necks.

This reminds me of that one picture of him and Twilight near the end of the “Dragon Quest” episode. Spike was a newborn, but Twi wasn’t a filly and they were in the library. Did she, like, use an age regressing spell on him and then made him pose?

I’m pretty sure that she used the spell on him. Look at him, he looks exactly like he did in the cutie mark chronicles. I think that when the book meant “aging spell” I think that the artist meant that the aging spell, would age spike backwards.
 
And I think the baby things in the background, are to help the viewers see/understand that he was turned into a newborn. Just to make it more obvious.

I don’t get it, did she use a spell on him, or herself? Because it says ageing spell, which implies it makes things older, and there are baby things there which seem unlikely to be obtained for a simple prank.
