Yep, that’s her.
“…the bounty hunter in the Tenchi Universe series who’s name I can’t remember”
You mean Nagi?
Who’d Waifu Ryo Ohki?
Unless they’re referring to this version of her

In this version I’ve drawn she’s more like a pet.
Eeyup ;)
Not a problem.
Just did another crossover pic tonight too.

And it looks like you just spotted it.
Brilliant, thanks! I’ll do some additional scouting around and see what else I can find.
Episode 1) No Need For Discussions

Tried looking for further episodes, but there’s only 2 of the second episode.
First one’s blocked unless you have an account at Youtube, and the other one’s a terrible copy.
The unblocked one’s here, but you’ll see what I mean

Aye, I was just reading up a bit more on it now, I will be sure to look into both of them again, the episodes all seem to be up YouTube as well which is quite convenient.
Yep, that was the Ryo-Ohki series.
The Tenchi Universe one is better. (I sometimes call this the ‘No Need’ series. Every single episode starts with ‘No Need For…’)
The two series do follow a very similar path at first, although in the Ryo-Ohki series Ryoko rams Ayeka’s ship and crashes it to earth. In the Tenchi Universe series, it’s Ayeka that rams Ryoko’s ship.
Also, in the Tenchi Universe series the characters turn up in a different order. Ryoko and Mihoshi are the first ones to arrive, then Ayeka. Sasami turns up a little later looking for her sister, then Washu, then Kyone (Mihoshi’s partner).
There’s Tenchi Muyo in Love/Tenchi In Tokyo, which is a time travel one if I remember correctly.
Daughter Of Darkness, which is actually a christmas special. Also sees a new character that isn’t seen in any other film or any of the series.
Last one I know of is Tenchi Forever. If you ever get chance to watch this one, don’t bother. It has none of the banter between the characters that made the rest of the series so good, and the plot behind the whole thing is deadly serious. It just doesn’t have the right feel to it.
Also, nice job on the art here, it’s also served as a motivator to rekindle my interest in this series and revisit it again in the near future.
Cheers!
I was just watching some clips now again, I’m totally sure I watched the first series you mentioned there, I remember the character Ryoko and the lil’ Cabbit (though I had forgotten their names in all honesty, it’s been a looooong time) :)
The villain, Kagato, with his big green laser sword as well I also remember, and Tenchi defeating him and chopping the ship in half in the process, good stuff.
There’s at least 4 different series of it as far as I know.
Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki, which was the one I saw first.
Tenchi Universe (the best one because it comes full-circle. You’ll know what I mean if you watch them all).
Tenchi in Tokyo, (a follow up to the Tenchi Universe series, where he goes off to a high school and meets another new girl there. Cue even more rivalry between new girl and Ryoko/Ayeka).
And the Galaxy Police series, which I’ve only heard about.
There was also a spin off series “Magical Girl Pretty Sammy”, which had Sasami and Tenchi as brother and sister, Kyone and Mihoshi running a music shop, Tsunami being a magical mentor to Sasami, and Ryoko and Ayeka as rivals for Tenchi’s attention at school.
That series was done after the popularity of the Mihoshi special episode.
You can still get the plushie from E-bay on occasion, but the prices are ridiculous.
I actually once saw 2 Cabbit plushies, and an original cell from the series on there. Ryo-Ohki, and Ken-Ohki. (Ken-Ohki is a male version of Ryo-Ohki, which is mostly light browns and white IIRC. It’s owned by the bounty hunter in the Tenchi Universe series who’s name I can’t remember)
I so wanted a cabbit of my own.
