As the noon day sun cast its warmth over the valley, two friends lay underneath the copse of trees, their bodies relaxed and their minds at ease. Gilda Whitefeather couldn’t have asked for a better day, white clouds, blue sky, and the all the time in the world to spend with her mate, Rainbow Dash.
She craned her head down at the sleeping Pegasus, currently using Gilda’s fore arms as a makeshift pillow. Gilda smiled, This was what she’d wanted more than anything, what she’d wanted to show Dash she could have…
A sigh escaped her beak, Rainbow Dash had taken the shutout from her ex-boyfriend pretty hard, and the pair had had numerous moments where they’d have to circumvent a particular hall of the school just to keep Dash in good spirits.
Said hall being full of jerks.
Looking her partner over she suddenly grimaced, yet again sighing. Gilda was always telling Dash that she needed to keep her mane in check, or it’d become unruly and hard to brush, but the pegasus continued to wake up each morning and simply bolt out the door for class, not once questioning the idea of preening or make up…
Not anymore…Gilda thought, she smiled and gently lifted the mare’s mane into her beak, nibbling back and forth, a little over here, a small knot over there…slowly, she slid her talons around the pegasus’ head. using her talon tips, she started to knead into Dash’s neck and cheeks relaxing the muscles.
Dash murmured quietly in her sleep, a smile betraying her pleasure. Gilda paused, ejoying the sound, and then slowly lifting her head and looking around to make sure the pair was truly alone.
No one in sight.
She blushed lightly and leaned down, nuzzling and nipping across Dash’s left ear, making the mare moan a LOT louder. Rainbow Dash opened her mouth as she did so, and Gilda snapped forward, locking lips with the mare. The moan silenced, Rainbow Dash came to, blinking in sleepy confusion before her eyes met with Gilda’s.
beautiful…Gilda thought as they stared at eachother, and then Dash broke the kiss slowly, breathing a good helping of air.
“w-wow Gilda, can’t say I’ve been woken up like that before…it was…awesome…” Gilda merely blinked at down at her, before smiling and letting Dash lean up and continue the kiss along her chin.
“I’m curious, what has you so romantic hmm?” Gilda laughed quietly and bumped her forehead into Dash’s,
“You have bedmane, and i wanted to fix it…things just…took a different turn from there…” they both blushed and Gilda flicked her tail over Rainbow’s mid section, letting the mare grasp it in her hooves before the griffon went back to work on the unruly mane.
Rainbow Dash lowered her head back down with a relaxed sigh, her eyes locked with Gilda’s.
“You know what Gilda…I realized why i love you so much.” Said griffon nibbled at a knot near the tip of the mane in her mouth.
“Hmm?”
“You make me feel loved…” Gilda stopped, and their eyes met once more. Dash had that look in her eye like she was far way, her smile was clear and bright.
“You make me feel like the world could drop awa–” She arched her back, mouth open, suddenly as Gilda nipped the base of her ear making her gasp sharply, and let the glorious sound was silenced by a deep kiss, Rainbow let herself moan into her lover’s mouth before they separated, inches from each other. Gilda nuzzled her, her voice a gentle whisper.
“None of that mushy stuff, I got what I was aiming for Dash,if you feel loved, then I’ve succeeded.”
Rainbow Dash nodded, a blush lanced across her cheeks, and let Gilda play with her mane, and after a while she yet again drifted off, sleeping to the melodious sound of Gilda’s purring, and the mid noon breeze.
