I have read this lots of times and every time I cry when I get to twilights letter that you wrote for Spike I am even crying writing this comment because it was so sad 😭

Because she has ALSO consented to keeping it a secret, or else she’d have said something to him by now. She doesn’t until she realizes he’s fucking torn apart inside… no fucking shit, right?
 
Knowing about this, remaining silent without any suggestion that she felt her sister’s actions were repellent, makes her equally guilty for condoning it.
 
It’s not even that the characters do this, but that the story takes their side. Spike isn’t furious or even torn between feelings. The author doesn’t see anything wrong with the trespasses that gave this manipulative piece of trash its core conflict.

Yeah, now it’s in reverse for twilight, with NO chance to reunite with her passed friends. Personally I always found Celestia making her an Alicorn to be unforgivably selfish on the part of princess Celestia

Forget whether Spike was prepared to see it, Twilight wrote it specifically SO he would see it! Celestia TOTALLY ignores Twilight’s dying wishes under the pretense that she knows better. What a perfect twat of a thing to do to someone. Fuck this story.
