I’m sorry
half-assed is the wrong word. I was probably primed to use half-whatever style terminology by thps48’s comment
I meant “stilted”
and it’s not “like” a stilted attempt at jamming the characters into cursory explanations of buzzwords, it is precisely that thing
this whole series is like a half-assed attempt at jamming the characters into cursory explanations of all of the rationality buzzwords
I was right. This artist is half-empty. :3
she’s trying to say that maybe some secret power made twilight an alicorn, and also made her enjoy book learning, so even though reading books came before becoming an alicorn, it didn’t cause her to become an alicorn. or maybe this “secret power” didn’t have anything to do with book reading, and she would have become an alicorn without reading a single word, like Cadance.
of course, there is no corellation since there’s only one single point of data, and there is causation because Celestia herself explained that Twilight’s studious nature allowed her to create new magic blah blah, which caused her to grow wings. so this example is totally invalid and unfitting. but it sort of sounds as if it is valid on the surface.
She just agreed me, right?…right? Can you tell?
;p
