If I may, Chrono Trigger is something everybody should play at least once, if you can even remotely stand the jRPG genre. It has a story, cast of characters and feel unlike anything else.
 
Also, the theme for this was to draw a character (ponified/pony dressed up as) from your FAVORITE game/book/etc, so, yeah. Of the hundreds if not thousands of video games I’ve played, it’s my personal favorite.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

CT is a good game for a jRPG.  
If you liked Final Fantasy and the genre as a whole you should play it at least once (or twice to see the true ending… or 14 times to see all of the endings.
