Forget jokes. I want to see this handled seriously, with all the problems and solutions that crop up as a result.
I hope they’re at least saving something similar for S5. I loved the action-adventure aspect we saw in the finale-fight, i loved Spike saving the day before that, and i loved the non-pony interaction. I want more.
Part of me wants to say because Spike had his hero moment the episode before.
But then again, the Buffaloes Twilight teleported onto seemed alright as well. Part of me also wants to think there could have been something more over the course of this season, maybe feature more non-pony connections as well (Reconcile with Gilda, maybe see some more Zebras, some more noble Dragons) all leading up to an epic finale of real friendship saving the day as the non-ponies Tirek thought weren’t worth draining ride in to save the day.
But, why he no Super Saiyan? He and and Twilight totally could have saved the day together.

Well, given that Spike’s eyes weren’t all faded after Tirek drained the others, he may well have been unaffected by the drain
That would indeed be awesome. I’d love to see Spikezilla vs the Season 5 opening villain as well!

Its an entirely plausible and effective to deal with any giant beasts attacking Ponyville, and they know how to revert it as well.
