I seen much heavier and bigger planes floating at sea with no problem.
It’s a plane. If weight was the issue, it probably wouldn’t be able to fly. I’d be more worried about how watertight is was.
They would probably get tired and/or lost before finding land.
They can’t just leave their plane there.
