It was called the Colt Cuddler before it got renamed to the gay general, then people got tired of the Fizzle content and the thread split into A Dragon general and The colt Cuddler once again. The Dragon General died out and The Colt Cuddler excludes Fizzle/dragons from being discussed now.

I think it’s about how the old gay general on /mlp/ got heavily derailed into stories about Fizzle the dragon, so a bunch of people formed a new general called coltcuddler to specifically exclude dragon stuff. The dragon fans presumably still lurk among them.
