I think Discord just wanted to be a dick and didn’t care about her attention. On the other hand Fluttershy is his closest friend. Who know, maybe he wil develop a crush like Spike and it will become a recurring gag?

Well, shippers will probably interpret it to be shippy, but honestly, Discord being jealous of Fluttershy’s friends is not necessarily shippy; Discord is actually immature enough to be jealous of friends of his friend. I remember being a kid and having those feelings, or dealing with my friends having those feelings about my friends. Besides, “Three’s A Crowd” was kind of obviously Discord deciding to be a dick to Twilight and Cadance because he was jealous of Cadance. At least, of the fact that Twilight wanted to spend time with her.
