Those are berries
A) To save money. Even if they could afford it, they’d probably still want keep all that cash.
2) If you’re talking about the brushables it’s so their hair can be brushed & ponies’ body types are mostly the same otherwise.
Next) They get major reuse out of the blind bag molds when they make background characters & such (Which makes it kind of surprising that they haven’t made the other spa twin yet).
There’s also a number 1 assistant who has not received a blindbag as of yet.
And we have had Manticores and Griffons, so him not being a pony is not an excuse.
Yeah! Scootaloo & Sweetie Belle need miniature scaled toys already! I mean seriously, we’ve only got half the crusaders in that scat; but not only Twist, but Snips, Snails, Silver Spoon, Pound Cake, & Pumpkin Cake already have specially molded entries; and not only that, but a character as unimportant as Lyrica Lilac has her own.
Scootaloo & Sweetie Belle have been relatively important since the first season, but still don’t have toys in the miniature scale?
That’s just not right.
What I don’t get is, why do only the blind bags get unique molds for each pony? I mean, besides production costs; if they can afford unique molds for each of those, why wouldn’t they be able to afford it for the regular toys?
I think there’s a serious disconnect between the toy division and the media division. It was shocking seeing Cheese Sandwich and “Suri” in the next blind bag set though.
At first that thought gave me some comfort, but then I remembered there still isn’t a blind bag for Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle, after, what, 10 sets of them. Even freaking Twist has a unique mold.
Soarin DOES have a couple of blind bags at the very least… But yeah, it’s amazing what characters get toys and what characters don’t. Especially since, given that the show is designed to sell toys, you’d think that every main or supporting character at the very least would have a toy. Heck, there are a bunch of other things from the show that never got toys or accesories that went WITH toys, much like how there are ponies or other things have toys but never appeared on the show (two words: Applejack’s truck).
Her special talent is testing ponies for colorblindness.
Next thing you know insignificant characters like Maud or Coco or Soarin’ will have one.
