First he got a shot right in the face, then after he rammed Twilight through the mountain she teleported over his head and blasted him by surprise straight into the ground. In both cases his shield was down. No results.  
Dude is pretty much General Zod on steroids.

Funny thing is, had this happened in the cartoon Tirek would have barely noticed it… dude got blasted with the magical equivalent of a baby nuke and simply stood back up.  
…now I want Bayptimus Prime try this stunt with Unicron: Unicron appears, Optimus shoots him in the face, Unicron looks at the MUCH tinier Cybertronian, perks an eyebrow the size of the Golden Gate and says “Okay, ha ha, very funny. Now call my REAL opponent.”

I’ll be honest Terry, while I do appreciate the critique of Bayformer Optimus here, I DO hope that this isn’t the last we’ll see of Tirek from you. Considering that he’s basically the Darkseid of MLP, I’d be disappointed if all you ever used him for was as the latest victim of Bayformer Optimus Prime.
