Well, I’ve had issues with Sonic fans before, (being a Sonic fan myself) but it’s not Sonic’s fault half his fanbase is nuts sometimes.

Also, honestly, bronies aren’t much better then Sonic fans, sense I’ve seen them do the same things as Sonic fans, like complain about petty things, make tons of OCs, and such.

Heck, some MLP-fans want nothing to do with the MLP/brony fandom either.

Understandable. There’s probably a lot of nostalgia for early games like these, but most of us want nothing to do with the Sonic fandom today.
