Beam Sabers, in this case.
It’s in front of Gundam Front in Obaiba Japan, near where the 1/1 scale RX-0 Unicorn Gundam would be built.
It stands for “Operation V”, which is the EFSF’s first Mobile Suit development, of course being the Gun Tank, Gun Cannon, and the iconic RX78-2 Gundam (EFSF Prototype Close Combat Mobile Suit).

It was moved twice, it was when it was first put up for the 30th Anniversary that it had a beam saber.
But they didn’t put it back after the first move.

It used to be in a more open area, with the closest building was only two stores tall.
But it is the very same just reconstructed in Odaiba.
