You know what screw it I like this pairing. yes this comic arc was awful and marked the beginning of idws rapid descent into garbage. Still im a sucker for tragedy, and the idea of celestia having a love life that she gave up for the sake of responsibility was a good one, just wish it was handled better. Ah well I guess that’s what fan fictions for.

Unfortunately, that’s the whole purpose of star-crossed ships.

You exaggerate your case on all sides with this one. PonyPon aside, not many people actually, truly like… t̴h͜a̛͞҉t̢ pairing. But plenty of people like Flashlight, myself included. Flash, being a friendly, decent sort of guy is way better suited to one of the mane six than some d-bag like Blueblood.

@Conred Only, the problem is, it doesn’t. It’s just like 2 mofos forcing it over and over, and their followers making a handful of art. It is literally nothing more than vaguely-canon-Mordetwi, and it makes about as much sense too. Even Twiblood hss more varied people pulling for it.

Well, I agree with you on this one. It isn’t just the quality per se, it’s that the comic is so different from the show that they aren’t cohesive.

Well, are you eloquent. At any rate, the comic is a completely different team of artists and, most importantly, writers. Unless they start cooperating directly and/or the show directly references the comic it’s up to the individual to take the comics as part of the shows world or not.

True. They both encounter the same problem: it’d be almost like starting the relationship over from square one. Not that it couldn’t be an interesting story if handled correctly, but there still wouldn’t be a guarantee that’d it work out positively.

Nah, not a problem I am not picky with my ships, there is still the multiple possibilities of Alt Sombra X Alt Celestia/Alt Luna/Alt anypony. And that is a fine enough substitute to me, he is alive after all, that gives him an edge over original Sombra.
