Let me just add to this:  
The third part is about Jotaro Kujo, Joseph’s grandson, who has to team up with his grandfather and some other protagonists to fight the returned Dio who took over Jonathan’s body. It features some new fighting mechanics called “stands”.

The story of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure centers around the misadventures of the Joestars, a powerful family with English roots. The series spans several generations, with each part featuring a descendant of the Joestars as the main protagonist along with a large cast of characters. Part 1 is about Jonathan Joestar (jojo)stoping Dio,who uses the stone mask to become a vampire and creates an army of zombies. Part 2 is about Joseph Joestar fighting a group of imortals,who are similar to vampires but stronger and stop them from aquiring the red stone of aja that combined with the stone mask makes them in to ultimate lifeforms.
