That being said, I gotta say… Celestia has known Discord how long? If she was still expecting monogamy from that guy, she’d have to be remarkably dense.
 
Given that she probably can’t get away with marrying him, Celestia might have to settle for keeping Discord as a secret lover, in which case it’s to her advantage if he’s publicly known to be married to or involved with somepony else. (I mean, yes, she’s actually an absolute monarch and can do what she wants, but can you imagine the shitstorm it would generate if Celestia married Discord? I’m talking about in-universe, not the shitstorm in the fandom.) (Though honestly that would probably be the only way she could get him to actually get married… “yes, I know you think marriage is a prison for the soul, dear, but think of all the ponies we’ll piss off if we get married!”)
 
I agree, though, that the most stable polyamorous relationship that includes Discord would probably be Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, because they’re both so invested in making their friends happy that Discord wouldn’t be able to play them against each other and try to get them to be jealous, and both of them would call him on his shit if he tried it.

Pinky would be the one who would agree with polygamy. Celestia, Luna and Twilight probably not.  
Ill say that best deal for Discord is to marry Pinkie and Fluttershy. Pinkie would have “fun” with her friends, Fluttershy would be too shy anyway to be jealous and Discord would only worry about double amount of foals.

Polygamy’s only good if all parties are in agreement.
