>hates when people use faulty logic to justify a crime
>justifies a crime with the same faulty logic
Witty ironic jokes shouldn’t get in the way of moral principles.
Everytime I hear people try to defend rape with this excuse, it makes me want to murder them and then say “They were asking for it”.
Hmm, it’s interesting. Now that I think of it, the phrase “They were asking for it.” has been in way appropriated by rapists in trying to excuse their actions, whilst people in situations where someone literally “asks for it”, in the sense of giving consent, I think generally do not put it that way, so in a way you’re right, but in another way this message is accurate in the context the phrase is used. It’s a kinda odd situation really.
That guys over there is asking for that.
(points to a guy in a green and purple plaid suit)
(Off in the distance)
You bastard!
(shoves him down and takes him to the border)
You never said where!
Wait, what are we talking about again?
Now bend me over and take me!
