Watch it never get referenced in universe and any character development/characterization in them will be promptly ignored (where did Twilight’s magic amplify necklace go? Think you’ll see nerd Shining Armour or anything that supposedly made Cadance interesting in the idw comics referenced in show? Comics is just Katie Cook fanfic drawn by Tony Price. Though its still a property of IDW which is property of HUB which mean that Meghan may use this canon from comics and use it in S5 and no one would say she doesnt have right to do it

Although Pinkie Pie is still probably closer to Cheese, Discord still is closer to Fluttershy and Celestia than any other male in the series
