Or, in reply to my earlier comment with what he does when he can’t siphon the magic from the Princesses as they already gave their magic to Twilight, he simply decides: “Screw this…I’ll be back for you later…”, and leaves, giving the Princesses time to probably flee to the caves beneath Canterlot, knowing that Tirek will never be able to find them there as he can’t track them due to them being without magic, and he is attracted to it like a shark to blood.

Dammit, knock it off, whoever is spoiling everything! whys is hasbro telling us what happens? It would be nice if they didnt out right say twilight would go alicorn in the season3 finale. It wouldve been an unexpectee twist! instead tehy gave it alll awy! Thats like syaing that snape will kill dumbledore in the previews! Demon sunset wouldve been a nuce twist if hasbro didnt blab. Seriously, advance reviews should be banned.

Definitely. He tries to drain Cadence, only to then see she is without her Cutie Mark.
 
Does the same to the Royal Sisters, nothing happens, so he decides to use them as leverage to get their magic from Twilight.
