I can stand in front of crowd of a few dozen, maybe even a hundred, all eyes on me, and be fine.
A crowd of thousands, including friends and family, is a different matter. I’m assuming that’s the case here.
I’m guessing it was for the episode plot.
I guess we can assume there’s a lot more pressure here for here.
I mean, here he’s seen as an amazing idol, and one slip up could cost him that title. Which is what drove him to be nervous.
I don’t think he got up there and counted how many people where watching. During the play he was perfectly fine, then all of a sudden he has severe stage fright? That just doesn’t make sense to me.
An audience of a hundred or two for a play = an audience of tens of thousands, having to hurry up and light a torch when you have infernal dysfunction.
He gave a speech in the center of the stage on Hearth’s warming eve, how is that not the center of attention?
Except here he’s the center of attention. Other times, he’s had others perform WITH him,(hearth’s warming eve, pinkie’s sharing song)
