Well, they did have that Fluttershy alicorn toy. I think that was some knockoff though. Didn’t stop Larson from cracking a comment about having company for Twilight visiting the others’ graves.
Yeah, toys are pretty much a predictor for what’s going to happen. Like how they showed those EQG toys and the new castle at those toy fairs.

To be honest, if they develop this right then I will be ok with it as well. I still can’t stand Princess Twilight. One thing I don’t want to see is some tacked on ending like S3 where “everything is going to be just fine.”
Until it’s address in the show itself, Twilight can still become immortal despite McCarthy’s words. She’s got quite the knack for trolling and double meanings with things.

Ok ok, I will concede that you guys have good arguments in favour of Ponyville being the Rainbow kingdom.
I’ll take a wait-and-see approach for the time being, and judge the execution of the concept more than the concept itself.

Ok, you have me there. It’s just that I find the concept kind of silly. I don’t mind her getting her own kingdom (apart from the “kingdom” part, of course), I just want it to be somewhere other than Ponyville.
Yes, I’m trying my best to stick by SF Debris’ maxim of it’s not what you do, but how you do it that matters; but making Ponyville the Rainbow kingdom just strains credulity IMO.
Still better than turning the Everfree into a kingdom, and its animals into rainbow ponies.
Forget about it.This show will always be ripe for drama because of this sad tug-of-war between Hasbro who want toys and money and 4Chan who want to obeyed at all cost.Trapped in the middle are the poor writers who does what they can to dont have their bosses or the Internet yelling at them.I think they’ll let out a big sigh of liberation once the show will end.
