If Syndrome’s methods of being a superhero involve murdering innocent superheroes, pretending to be a real hero and kidnapping babies, then he is not superhero material.

The way I’d see it going down, is after being crowned princess, Twilight is approached by a fan of hers, the pony that would be Syndrome. He’s a fan of her, and approaches her (easy enough, since Twilight’s the most approachable of the four princesses) and either wants to study magic being an earth pony, or could be any race and wants to be a princess. Twilight, still being somewhat socially incompetent, innocently brushes him off, making a well meaning comment about how “he should focus on his own race’s magic” or that “the magic of friendship made her a princess, and that is something you must discover on your own.” Syndrome takes this entirely the wrong way (though it would be perfectly in character for Twilight to phrase something like this in an awful way) and delves into magic, intending to turn everyone in Equestria into alicorns, so that when everyone is a princess, no one will be.
 
I’ve always thought that a Badass Normal would make a good, challenging foil for Twilight, particularly one that’s had to work and struggle to acquire power, considering how often the (not exactly baseless) accusation that Twilight hasn’t earned any of her phenomenal rewards gets thrown around.

Certainly. Hell, if we play out an AU idea, Syndrome used to be a colt named Apex, who used to look up to Twilight while she lived in Canterlot, only to be constantly shunned and rejected by her to the point where he made it on his own as a private industrialist, later exposed by the Elements of Harmony, who figure out that he plans to empower all of Equestria and cause all ponykind to destroy themselves with his magic weapons.

So..Yes as in “I’m the only one” or yes as in “I also get the same thought”?@RIG

i have been saying that phrase for months, people bitch about princesses, they dont realized that as more princess are, the more irrelevant their titles become, while their actual actions take more importance.
