I think that might be where the reputtion Fox had for screwing shows over started, or at least the most famous example by far.
Well from what I heard they aired the episodes in a weird order which confused a lot of people. And the awesome episode that makers of Firely wanted as the series opening was aired just after they had decided to cancel the show.
Well think about it this way. The “over 9000” thing is something everyone has heard of right? Well it was around in english for almost 3-4 years before it got noticed and made popular. Firefly was actually pretty obscure until it blew up on the internet but by then it was too late.
Yeah. I mean, everybody who watches it now says it’s an awesome show, and it was obviously good enough when it was being aired to gain a cult following. Sci-fi tv is underrated, but it can’t be that underrated right?
Because of the rating thing?

I re-watched it recently and I forgot how much I really loved every single scene in that show.
Also the reason it cot canceled was because it apparently had poor ratings at the time.
I think I’m hooked.
It will be the shortest addiction ever unfortunately. Fuck Fox with a cactus, it seems like they have some sort of extreme prejudice towards people enjoying the show or its merch.
I swear to christ I’m going to learn knitting just so that I can sell Jayne hats to spite them.
