Rarity certainly has more screen time this season. I was referring to the fact that just like AJ, Rarity too gets called a background pony. As we have seen, screen time doesn’t really matter once that happens.
I too am guilty of doing such thing but I think it’s good as long as it’s kept as a joke. When people are serious about it, then it just gets stupid. Unfortunately we also have people like that in the fandom.
Actually Rarity has been a lot in the spotlight too this season.
Anyway indeed, Twi was surprisingly a bit absent this season. Fortunately last weeks episode did make up for that and we still have a few episodes before the season finale. Who knows how big Twilight’s roll will be in those episodes(I know they’re mostly Spike focused, but still). And as always the season finale itself mostly focuses on Twilight.
And yet people complain about season 4 being the “Twilight Sparkle show”…
(which it always was from the start of season one but never mind that)
