I ship Vinyl with an OC, so I can’t really contribute more than “ship what you wanna ship.”
Don’t look at me. I’ve seen people thinking that.
But you know, there are people who misspell Soarin’ horribly.
He made like 2-3 appearances so far in his DJ outfit and shades. How in the hell is he considered an OC?
It’s because Neon Lights doesn’t seem to be as well known. Some even think he’s an OC. Kinda sad.
I’m more of a fan of VinylXNeon. It’s not a headcannon or some shit like that. It’s just that they both have similar looks and interests,
They both wear colored shades,
They both have talents relevant to music,
They’re both just as crazy,
They’re both rarely seen on the show.
And they both know how to party hard.
Makes more sense than VinylXOctavia if you ask me. :/
But they don’t both live in Canterlot. DJ lives in Ponyville. She was shown in Canterlot like… once and at the wedding. In fact the technology (at least her turn table, I’m not counting any other fanon) she holds is more aligned to Manehatten than Canterlot.
Yeah, agreed on Dinky… but for some reason that doesn’t bother me. I don’t see it as often anymore. I guess it’s not as in your face as this one.
DJ/Tavi isn’t something you can ignore like Dinky.
No other ship has annoyed me so much as it came out of nowhere. No sir, I don’t like it.
At least they’re both musicians in Canterlot, which is more of a canon connection than Derpy and “Dinky” have ever had.

Technically, I accused you of implying that people shouldn’t ship, which with the way you worded what you said, that’s how it came across.
But this is pointless. We disagree, and nothing is going to change that.

You are accusing me of having the attitude that “nobody should be allowed to ‘ship,” which is NOT what I meant at all, and what I was trying to explain to you…
I even admit I’ve upvoted, and faved a few ‘shipper pics that were well-drawn. Yes, liking ‘shipping is fine, but I just meant I’m not that into ‘shipping is all, and it’s very rare for me to run into anybody else who feels the same. (That’s all I meant.) Yes, I should’ve worded it better, I will admit that, but you’re getting way to bent out of shape over this…
Well, people genuinely enjoy shipping, so of course the shipping tag is going to be big. I don’t even know why that’s relevant, unless you’re still trying to imply that it’s too big or something. And when you literally say that you feel like the only person not obsessed with shipping, it’s going to sound like you’re attacking those that do like it.
And please, “You said this, you’re evil”, really? Disagreeing with your opinion is hardly me calling you evil.
I get you and this is exactly how I feel.
Ugh… There’s a difference between that, and saying some fans are to obsessed with ‘shipping. (Seriously, look at how big the ‘shipping tag is.) I never said “all fans,” and I didn’t mean ‘shippers (who aren’t obssessed) should give up on doing something they like, or drawing what they like… (Sorry I didn’t specify that for you…)
So please spare me this, “You said this, you’re evil” guff. I get accused of so many things, (especially by Sonic fans) I’m starting to not care anymore…
And you can’t deny some take ‘shipping to seriously, or get to obsessed with it.
Y’know, I remember before the “Hearts & Hooves Day” episode aired, some girl who read the ep description before it came out got angry, because she feared it was going to make “CheeriMac” canon, and sink her fanon “FlutterMac” ‘ship. She started drawing a bunch of “hate pics” of Cheerilee, (like of her getting hurt, and such) and bashing her constantly on her DA page.
(And ironically, the episode wasn’t exactly what she thought it was going to be.)
Those are the kind of ’shippers I have a problem with… As well as ones who bash others for not supporting a ’ship they do, or for liking a ‘ship they don’t.

I sometimes feel like i’m the only brony not obsessed with that. lol no offense, to those who like ‘shipping, but every character doesn’t have to smooch every other character.
Yes, they were in the same scene in the comics… not just the covers. Don’t remember what issue it was.
No, I’m fine with Lyra. It’s just a name. I just don’t like the ScratchTavi ship. An actual event is more important than a name.

Well yeah, but them being best friends is fanon, too, for the exact same reason. So, all we’re arguing is headcanon anyway.
