Why not? The ponies seem to drink cider on a regular basis with no inebriating effects, maybe their metabolisms aren’t affected by alcohol but they DO get drunk on, for instance, milk. Bizarre biology anybody? :P

Yeah, but not all of the Mane 6 have older siblings. Pinkie, AJ and Twiley do, but Rarity IS the older sister, and neither RD nor Fluttershy have canonically been shown to have any siblings at all yet, to my knowledge.
Though I’m not sure if we’d be able to handle the sheer volume of charisma that Maud and Mac would produce.
