The guy that made Cowboy Bebop made Space Dandy, along with Samurai Champloo! Awesome.
No idea what Space Dandy is.
I was thinking something along the lines of Gundam, or Cowboy Bebop, or hell, even Firefly. That would have been amazing.
Something like Space Dandy would be awesome too XD.
OH I KNOW! I would have been so hyped for Dragonfire. That could have been so cool, but only if they embraced a more mature tone for it.
Yes hopefully the next two episodes will take care of that.
I bet Spike here is just bummed out that a teaser of a Space Sci-fi MLP Spinoff featuring Spike which looked pretty epic turned out to be an April Fools joke. Ironically I bet most would take that over Equestria Girls any day.
Secret of my excess was okay, I guess. I’m just not certain I call it a Spike episode since, you know, he wasn’t himself for the duration of the episode. Otherwise, I tend to forget it even exists.
And Just for Sidekicks had him acting remarkably jerkish, even for him, and I just didn’t find it entertaining. It just felt really forced.
You didn’t like Secret of My Excess and Just for Sidekick? Granted Just For Sidekicks is thin margin but hey whatever issues should hopefully be taken care of in the Equestria Games episode.

While I sincerely hope they’re good, past experience with Spike episodes doesn’t leave me hopeful.
Well he has two more episodes this season, and they sound like winners. Here’s a hoping.

It will never be addressed. The writers like him as a punching bag too much to ever pass up.
