It’s really not that much shorter than Twilight’s, in fact it’s not shorter than Twilight’s at all.
Rainbow actually has about the average mane length when you compare her to other ponies, I think.
Still, she has a pretty short mane for a mare.
Still longer than in this image though.
Actually, when compared to everyone else’s it’d probably be no longer that shoulder length.

I’m very ambivalent towards the skirt, since she has shorts on underneath them.
No one ever said Woolie was wrong.
They should get rid of the skirt too.
