The remaining guard had to make a tough choice, but he ultimately kept Celestia’s chariot safe. Celestia was sad to lose a guard pony to that eagle again, but sent out the remaining guard with replacement favored student Star Shine and her wyvern sidekick Fang.
On the second trip to Ponyville, the remaining guard was grabbed. Fortunately, the body of Twilight Sparkle cushioned Star Shine’s fall and Fang only had minor injuries from landing on Spike.
