Hasbro’s trying to go 1980’s 2 Neon Boogaloo
(And just to be clear, I mean the toy division of Hasbro, not Hasbro Studios.)
She seems to have sort-of dark olive-green colored eyes, not blue, and red eyeshadow.
Is propably a new, “goth”-type character. Look at the purple half of her hair, it’s not lavender, it’s almost fuchsia.
Lose the inch long base and heels and we can talk.

The actual fashion is quite terrible, but I sorta want RD’s boots.
Looks like it. I was at a McDonald’s recently; they’re doing MLP toys again, “rainbowfied” this time, and they have Vinyl Scratch but no Applejack.

You can barely tell that’s Rarity back there. Fluttershy’s hard to tell too, but I love her giant pigtails.
The eyeshadow looks pretty fun. Not sure what’s going on with that one live action girl’s fountain hairstyle though.
…WAT? That looks nothing like her. Nothing about her says it’s Rarity. Not one bit.
This is what the target demographic wants. You have a problem with it, travel across North America and slap every tween girl you meet in the face.
