The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

After Kakapo colored a certain pic for me, he got interested in drawing a pic of Velvet from scratch. I tossed out the idea of it being winter themed, to juxtapose from how boiling hot it is in his location, and how at the top of this month, I still got fresh snow in mine.
 
Think Peanuts Christmas, or a classic Christmas movie scene of a family rushing out to enjoy the first snowfall.
