Going by the rest of the deviantart gallery, it doesn’t look like the scepter was added as an afterthought. In fact, I feel like it’s more of a companion to >>580217 but focused solely around the scepter instead.
 
That said, I would like to know what inspired the artist to draw this particular scene.

While this is an interesting image of a good setting, I’m getting annoyed with how random images are showing up in my feed just because the Twilicane is hidden somewhere in the image.
