Heh, didn’t know that, lol, maybe I should look up the trivia behind all these pokemon. XD
Some of them I have to look up the trivia behind their naming to actually learn it. (most recent personal example being Elgyem/Beeheyem being L.G.M./B.E.M., terms for aliens)
I don’t have that problem, I seem to be able to memorize Pokemon relatively easily.
The only thing I don’t care for so much for the newer ones is that I’m having a harder time tying a name to their image. But the earlier gens have the advantage of “I’ve been looking at and talking about them for the last couple decades”.
True, although they appear to have gotten worse
There were always weird and stupid looking pokemon. ohai voltorb/electrode/grimer/muk/magneton/diglet/dugtrio/etc.
The female variant on the right is especially fitting for her.
