I would say they’re on the same level of friendship. They’re all background characters anyways.
She still made better friends with them(yeah even Big Mac) than she did with Maud.
Yes, except RD barely knows either of those characters. While she doesn’t know much about Maud either, they’ve spent time with one another. All RD’s time he spent with Fleet foot was training, anyways.
RD’s admiration for strength and speed could also be said for other characters like Big Mac(strength) or Fleetfoot(speed). This new ship is here just for the sake of it. Also, I think Cheese Sandwich would better fit the scenario of trying to make Maud smile.

I ship cheesepie soooo hard, so I have nothing against it. Don’t argue with each other, please.
Maybe she can be paired up with Cheese Sandwich. Pinkie loves her and can actually tell if she’s excited or not. Cheese Sandwich, practically being a male Pinkie, might love her just as much, if not, more.
I was about to say the same thing. It just makes more sense (that’s something I never thought i’d say about a relationship with a rock as apposed to a same species relationship)
Makes no sense, CheesePie actually showed chemistry and the two had many things in common and Pinkie was the inspiration for Cheese Sandwhich when he was a colt.
Maud barely knows RD and they don’t have anything in common (except for their and the everyone’s love for Pinkie Pie). Plus, there’s no chemistry going on that warrants a shipping.
