Exactly, the wright brothers are notable and important and made the first steps, but they by no means got us to where we are today. They made an important contribution, but the progress since then is far greater (their contribution vs >100 years of progress since then)
 
Likewise, Bonnie was important, without her mlp wouldn’t exist (or at least not as it is currently, it’s possible a similar idea could’ve been thought up by someone else) but Faust and the writers made it what it is today which is what I like.
 
If I’m not mistaken, Bonnie just made a toy design, that design being g1 which I think are ugly and toys has nothing to do with the overall show, so if that’s the case then she really didn’t contribute /that/ much.

I’m not necessarily talking of quality, which is still subjective. Just that Bonnies contribution towards g4 is rather minimal. Wasn’t she just a toy designer for Hasbro? So she came up with the general concept of a cartoon pony, from what I know that’s where the contribution ends.
 
Think of it this way, who would you put most of the credit towards for current aircraft, the wright brothers or current aeronautical engineers?
