SASSAFLASH AND CARAMEL MET DURING ONE OF PINKIE PIE`S PARTIES. SINCE PINKIE IS REPLACED BY FLUTTERSHY, THEN THE TWO WOULD HAVE NEVER MET. AND, SINCE THEY ARE ALL GRUMPY, SASSAFLASH WAS ANGRY AT CARAMEL BECAUSE OF FLUTTERSHY.

A thousand stories unfold where we cannot see them. We see only the main six while the background ponies go about their lives. In many of their existences, the ponies we focus on are the ones in the background to them.
 
They are, such as are we, just a brief extra in the cast of someone else’s story. What happened between these two may have been a roller coaster of emotion with tough decisions, self searching, and sacrifice, where a white filly showed up for a fraction of a second.
