He finally woke up after a month. This is nothing short of a miracle.
That is true, but the schools, hell ALL schools should be responsible & take care of the bullying that has gotten out of hand in recent years. For example, did you know that bullies are now using food allergies to attack others? If our schools are so bully infested to the point where kids can’t even EAT without being at risk of a serious injury, you’d think the people in charge of these schools would take better precautions.
The school, arguably, did nothing wrong, in the sense that most days, schools have a very hands-off attitude to avoid being sued if they took action against this (eg the parents of the bullies).
The ultimate result is an issue of many many factors that you can’t just point one figure towards, beyond that we (globally) need to be a lot more tolerant of what others enjoy.

Also, they were worried that if he did wake up he would have suffered from enough brain damage that he would have lost his sight. That clearly isn’t the case. The lack of motor control, as I understand, is normal and will come back.
This kid got bullied for liking MLP, he attempted suicide. He didn’t die, but suffer brain damage and had been unconscious for a month. We just got news today that he finally woke up.
I hope he gets better real soon.
