I’m not even sure what you’re implying here. If you’re talking about the dolls’ clothes, it doesn’t really matter since the faces are still inaccurate. If anything, the clothes make the inaccuracy of the faces more noticeable.
Although I understand the point you’re making about the teeth, I’m not understanding the point about the lipstick. The fact that all the dolls have it is one of the reasons why they do not resemble the in-show characters.
And I know about how the face was molded to include lipstick. That’s why I suggested the customizer should use a different kind of doll altogether. Because otherwise, it’s almost impossible to make a show accurate doll that doesn’t look ugly.
No, because the face’s lips were molded to accomodate lipstick, so at the very least it should be painted a more subtle color or else the effect just looks poor and cheap. And considering this particular doll was molded to have a slightly open mouth with teeth showing.. At least the customizer could have kept the original paint there, it’d look 100x better than just having nothing there.
Because the lipstick is one of the things the in-show characters (other than characters such as Celestia and Luna) do not have at all.
But yeah, seeing pictures like this makes me think that people should use different dolls when making customs of the EqG characters.
