No, it was literally a bubble, many bubbles were passing through the Goof Off, and that’s when she realized that Rainbow wasn’t having any fun.
It was a row of confetti for her, wasn’t it?
It was a bubble for Pinkie, if I remember correctly.
The rainbow refraction never takes place on the key. Rarity got it off of an unusually reflective velvet rope, Dash had it refracted through a glass of water, and Pinkie just kind of had it happen.
Because Rarity saw a shiny rope and she got a rainbow thread.
Rainbow Dash saw light reflected off of a pitcher of water onto a flag and she got a medal.
and Pinkie saw Rainbow Dash grumpy and got a rubber chicken.
What they see doesn’t become the key.
Hmmm, hadn’t thought about them having to change form, but I living key would be hilarious to me.
That would be kind of weird, considering that the objects are probably going to change into forms that will fit in the keyholes in the finale.
