I don’t see why you’re trying to change my opinion. Are we not allowed to have our own and share our opinions without stepping on each others toes? I’m just saying that she looks like a species of moth that doesn’t eat honey is all. But given most of these designs follow the dietary habits of ponies rather than moths, than most of the entomology for these hybrids is nonexistant. We can safely assume that they’re just some “Equestrian” moths or some sort.
Fair enough. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that trying to change someone’s opinion on the Internet is only slightly easier than getting a rock to float by asking it politely.
She looks more like a Agrotera basinotata to me
Then how do you know she isn’t an Acherontia lachesis pony? She seems to have the right coloration.
I have no idea. I assume generic moth since most designs lately borrow from the moth look but not really any species in particular.
What species is she supposed to be?
Except that this moth pony isn’t a Acherontia lachesis

No, but I do know basic Entomology. If they’re going to be “moth” ponies, why step away from their habits/diets other than to just have the design of a moth but look like a pony? Bat ponies manage to follow the basic zoology of their species, even such things as what they eat.
