True, but this way she can be in Inquisitor Fancypants’ retinue.
 
Also the guy requested this pic specifically asked for a multi-melta, which would be unorthodox for a Dominion… but then again her relationship with Fancypants is already quite unorthodox to the eyes of the Ecclesiarchy so it all worked out okay.
 
(I’m assuming Fancypants is Thorian here, which means he is able to discern ponies of significant talent and then recruit them into his cause. Just like he recognized Rarity’s talent when he first met her.)

I’m surprised that this wasn’t done sooner. Though I believe that that Fleur would be a Canoness Superior and wield a Power Sword.
 
P.S Fleur de Lis with scars and tatoos is Goddess-tier sexy.
