Yeah, I hear you on that. I try to keep my weirdness and anything that might unduly bother others out of their way. The only item I ever really care to push would be my religious beliefs (born agian Christian) and even then try to take the best of care not to cause problems. (and yeah, that can be hard given its religion stuff)
 
A long story short long ago I learned the hard way the diffrence between being/accepting yourself and being a jerk.
 
Many out there are so eager to obtain respect and “acceptance” based on no other fact then they are a person that they forget that those around them are people too. Just as whatever “weird” quirk they have is a part of who and what they are the opinions, beliefs, boundries, tastes and whatever else of those around the are a part of who those people are.
 
Makes me think of that snail from that “Turbo” movie….

That adult baby who tried to watch me got such a nasty reputation even amongst his own kind and so many people got mad at him (He had nearly 700 requests for crying out loud).
 
The other person wasn’t as bad (He finds characters in diapers hilarious and cute and asks for baby versions of characters in diapers a lot), but he was still being disrepectful because these were random artists and he’s asking for free stuff. I’ll even admit that I find Blue from Blue’s Clues dressed like Tommy Pickles cute. Most of the really nasty diaper art is questionable most of the time and I only stick to cutesy stuff, so this isn’t an issue for me.
 
I don’t care what your kind does as long as you don’t force it on me.

Never had much contact with that person but I am aware that they request spam everywhere, granted I have never gotten the impression they are “rude” about it but the mere act is enough to get on the nerves of many people.
 
But yeah, That tends to be how bad things have to get before most of us “fellow freaks” can build up the nerve to even toss a wad of paper at someone doing something that is over the line. I fear even mentioning this next name (its like mentioning Voldamort in the Harry Potter-verse)… but have you ever heard of the babyfur called… Macgyver? Many have tried to help him including myself and have only ended up beating their heads into their desks at the very least.

Like this guy? This punk tried to watch me on Deviantart because I sometime draw baby characters in diapers, and he blatantly stated he was an adult baby with a diaper fetish on his “About Me” page. He was also an annoying request whore who asks random people like to draw characters as 4-6 year old children in diapers regardless of whether or not the person was in the fetish (Because he wore diapers until he was four), and has a habit of complaining about free requests he does receive. Another member kept nagging me to draw Blue from Blue’s Clues and Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls diapered and dressed like Tommy Pickles and kept asking long after I told him I wasn’t interested. Members of the diaper community had to apologize to me for those two and they told them numerous times they can’t just ask random people to draw stuff for them.

That is exactly why it is hard for such comunities to be self policing, for a while bronies could at least try to down hate with “love and tolorate”, but for us what are we going to say to someone we think is taking things to far?
 
Thats gross? You’re being wierd? That isn’t normal? We are already freaks by standard defination. Self policing is very difficult due to this.
 
As for pedophilia there are some that take it that route, but many like myself actually find it the very antithesis of what we desire. We on some level wish we could go back to our time of innocence, pedophilia is to steal and destroy the very thing longed for.

The whole diaper thing is just wrong. After all, only the elder and the younger kin should wear diapers. It makes me feel wrong looking at it. I respect other people’s fetishes, though really. Wouldn’t you say it promotes pedophilia in some aspects?
 
I get the cuteness of babies in them, but that’s only because most parents don’t want to either throw away or wash soiled underwear or other linen. Diapers are meant to be disposable, after all.

An irony for better or worse is that though the better chunk of the diaper types are not “that bad” the fact that simply being “preasent”(having said intrest) makes everyone enough of a freak that almost no one likes to throw stones.

That varies from person to person in the diaper fetish scene. Some people enjoy having “accidents”, others just like to fantasize about it but find the reality gross, while some don’t even fantasize about it. It’s true though that quite a lot of images involve waste.
 
For me it’s partly a desire to feel both helpless and safe - to feel that I am not expected to have even the most basic control over my own body, but that it’s okay because I’m wearing protection. There’s also an aspect of domination and humiliation in it. The idea of being a naughty child having an accident and punished, or being punished by being made to have an accident.  
Potty training is pretty much the first expectation anyone puts on us as we are growing up, and is also one of the defining distinctions between a baby and a child. To lose that control, or have it taken away, is both very liberating and utterly degrading.

diaper fetishes can compromise a number of things. like, say, a friend of mine just likes wearing them because they’re comfortable. some like wearing them for the regression factor, and others like using the diaper, which can be cause of a number of things; it can make them fit into the role of being younger and more needy of attention, or just because they like using it (watersports and scat can commonly mix with diaper fetishism, but they’re not one and the same).
 
as for why they seem comfortable in a soiled diaper… well, fetishes are weird like that. :P

Basically I fantasize about returning to an age when I didn’t have the stress of adult responsibilities and I could have fun without fearing for the future. I’m not entirely sure why that expresses through sexual fantasies involving diapers, but it doesn’t seem too bizarre in my mind. Search for (paraphilic) infantilism to get more info. There are various scientific articles on the subject, although I’m not sure I agree with everything in them.
